Build scalable cloud infrastructure, robust integrations, and pragmatic customer-facing tools for Incept’s voice AI agent service.

Incept AI is solving the last mile problem in Voice AI. Our team of software engineers and applied scientists builds systems, models, and workflows that make Voice AI reliable and truly useful in the real world.

Our first application is the lucrative drive-thru and phone automation market for restaurants. We have built the most accurate order-taking restaurant Voice AI assistant in the world, and are live with major restaurant chains to help elevate their customer service while providing major automation-led savings.

What you will do

  • Design and build scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure that underpins our voice AI agent service.
  • Build robust integrations with third-party services and systems to ensure smooth functionality.
  • Build high-quality, pragmatic customer-facing tools.
  • Define the technical roadmap and architecture.
  • Establish software engineering and operational best practices across the company.

Your work will also touch the design and engineering of real-time low latency systems, agentic AI workflows, and data pipelines.

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
  • At least a year of software engineering experience after graduation.
  • Track record of building successful real-world products and systems.

Preferred requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience building software and systems.
  • Experience with ops best practices.
